Columbus, Ohio Horseback Riding Lessons

We operate on an annual term of 46 weeks on, with 6 weeks off for horse rest and veterinary care throughout a calendar year. You can find our academy lesson schedule on the Google Calendar page of our website. 

We require all new students to take an Introductory Lesson which includes:

• a tour of the facility
• overview of safety rules and procedures
• Grooming and tacking up
• riding time
• Untacking and scheduling your next lesson.  

Please note that helmets will be provided for the first lesson.  After that, we require that each student have their own fitted helmet and appropriate riding boots. LYSS is happy to assist new riders and their families with procuring the appropriate equipment.

 Once you've completed your Introductory Lesson, you'll have the option to join one of our two riding programs:

• Academy Riding (1x per week): $380.00/month
  • Includes one pre-scheduled lesson per week.
  • Operates on a 46-week annual schedule.
  • One monthly horsemanship (ground) lesson.

• Riding School (2x per week): $720.00/month
  • Includes two pre-scheduled lessons per week.
  • Operates on a 46-week annual schedule.
  • Option to lease and ride the same horse for every lesson for an additional $250/month.
  • One monthly horsemanship (ground) lesson.
